Dear Colleagues,
The vacuum rack VY.RC0, located in the middle of the hall and close to the VITO experiment, it's becoming filled with all sorts of materials that don't belong to the vacuum system. This situation isn't new, but it's getting worse over time. The equipment installed on this rack controls the instrumentation and actuators for several vacuum sectors, and a failure in any of them, caused by an impact or falling material, could shut down the entire system. Therefore, could you please inform those responsible for this equipment and other materials that our rack is not a storage area (let alone a clothes rack, as shown in the attached photo), and that they must remove everything immediately, leaving the perimeter of the rack completely clear, both in front and behind?
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Abel
