DESCRIPTION:\nAbout CERN Baltic Conferences\nThe CERN Baltic Conference (C
 BC) is an annual event hosted by one of the higher education or research i
 nstitutions from the CERN Baltic Group (CBG)\, with the aim of connecting 
 and growing the scientific community in the Baltic states working on CERN-
 related research topics.\nThe sixth event\, CBC 2026\, will be hosted by t
 he University of Latvia (UL)\, in Riga\, Latvia and is organised by the UL
  Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology in collaboration with the CERN
  National Contact Point for Latvia\, and CBG partners.\nScope and scientif
 ic topics\nThe scope of the event covers all CERN-related scientific topic
 s with a strong focus on the CERN-related research activities in the Balti
 c states\,  as well as the sessions on the policy and state-of-play in th
 e Baltics\, and relevant industry in the three countries.\nSpecifically\, 
 the scientific topics include\, but are not limited to:\n\nParticle physic
 s: experiment and theory\nNuclear and atomic physics\nAccelerator physics\
 nParticle accelerator and detector technologies\nMedical and societal appl
 ication of particle accelerators.\n\nObjectives\nThe main objectives of th
 e CBC 2026 are to bring together the scientific community of the Baltic st
 ates and to provide updates on the most recent scientific achievements of 
 the members of this research community working on CERN-related fields of r
 esearch.\nThe aims of the event are:\n\nTo connect and build the scientifi
 c community in CERN-related fields of research in the Baltic region and be
 yond\;\nTo stimulate the development of the ecosystems of scientific resea
 rch and higher education in the Baltic states\;\nTo inform and engage the 
 policy makers across the region on the benefits of a strong research commu
 nity and the requirements for further growth\;\nTo inform and engage vario
 us stakeholders\, including the higher-education institutions and industry
  representatives in the development of the scientific ecosystem in the Bal
 tics.\n\nThe spirit of the event is based on the core principles of the CB
 G of transparency\, honesty\, sharing and collaboration.\nRegistration and
