DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Andrea Boccardi (CERN)\n\nThe purpose of this TB is 
 to review the current state of SoC developments in BI and to compare the a
 rchitectural choices made across ongoing projects\, particularly with resp
 ect to register access\, hardware abstraction layers\, and the allocation 
 of functionality between these layers and the FESA class.\nAs a starting p
 oint\, CEM will present its plans for SoC support and the associated softw
 are-layer architecture. BI-SW will then present the proposed EDGE wrapper 
 and extender layers and discuss their intended roles and responsibilities.
  Subsequently\, the current implementations in two example projects and th
 e motivations behind the chosen approaches will be reviewed and compared.\
