DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our series dedicated to the Ritmo con Señas (Rhy
 thm with Signs).\n\nSantiago Vázquez\, Argentine musician and composer\, 
 is coming to the CERN MusiClub for a two-day workshop.\nHe is the inventor
  of the Rhythm with Signs and the creator of numerous musical projects an
 d bands\, including @niu.grupo @lagrande_banda @panpercusion\, La Bomba 
 de Tiempo and Puente Celeste.\nThe Rhythm with Signs method\nThis method w
 as developed in Buenos Aires by Santiago Vázquez as a way of organizing c
 ollective musical improvisation through a shared vocabulary of gestures. I
 t draws inspiration from traditional percussion music and enables people f
 rom different backgrounds—even those with little or no musical experienc
 e—to play improvised music together.\nA conductor uses hand and body sig
 ns to give real-time suggestions to the musicians\, facilitating and shapi
 ng various aspects of the music. \nWhile the method can be quite sophisti
 cated technically\, the focus is not on the technical performance of each 
 individual\, but on the shared experience of making music together\, regar
 dless of the composition of the group.\nSo\, be prepared to keep it simple
  but groovy\, to truly listen to one another and to share music with peopl
 e of different skill levels and backgrounds.\nNotes\n\nSome minor adjustme
 nts to the timeline and of the program are possible to meet everyone's nee
 ds\nSome instruments will be available\, mostly percussion instruments\, b
 ut feel free to bring your own instrument (both percussion and melodic ins
 truments are welcome\, in line with the workshop content)\, keeping in min
 d that not all instruments can be easily amplified. \nThe workshops build
  on one another\, so attending the Saturday workshops is recommended for t
 hose who plan to join the ones on the Sunday (if that's not feasible\, the
 y may attend the preparatory workshop on Friday or contact claudio.ciprian
 i@cern.ch).\nThe workshops are beginner-friendly and open to non-musicians
 . The preparatory session on Friday is intended to support everyone's part
