 nNA60+/DiCE is a new experiment designed to study the phase diagram of str
 ongly interacting matter at high baryochemical potential\, in the range of
  200 to 550 MeV\, at the CERN SPS.   It will focus on precision studies
  of thermal dimuons\, heavy-flavor production\, and strangeness production
  in Pb–Pb collisions at center-of-mass energies from $\\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 
 6 to 17 GeV.\nThe proposed apparatus comprises a vertex telescope position
 ed close to the target\, followed by a muon spectrometer located downstrea
 m of a hadron absorber. The vertex telescope will consist of multiple plan
 es of ultra-thin\, large-area Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors embedded in 
 the magnetic field of the MEP48 dipole magnet. The muon spectrometer will 
 employ large-area gaseous detectors for muon tracking and the MNP33 dipole
  magnet.\nAfter the submission of the technical proposal in 2025\, the go
 al is to start data-taking in 2031.\nThis talk will focus on the experimen
 tal apparatus\, including technical aspects and the status of R&D efforts.
