DESCRIPTION: \n \nNawabganj Balika Vidyalaya is a century-old government 
 girls' school in West Bengal\, India\, educating students from Classes V t
 o XII. With a rich legacy of academic excellence and holistic education\, 
 the school has produced generations of accomplished women in medicine\, en
 gineering\, scientific research\, civil services\, entrepreneurship\, arts
 \, and social service.\n \nThe school fosters inquiry-based STEM educatio
 n and sustainability through student-led projects on environmental monitor
 ing\, biodiversity\, water conservation\, climate change\, and waste manag
 ement. The GYRA Research Unit\, mentored by a scientist from MIT\, conduct
 s interdisciplinary research\, including studies on academic stress among 
 school students. Students regularly present their work at the Internationa
 l Research Conference for Children (IRCC)\, science seminars\, conferences
 \, and nature study camps\, and have received recognitions such as the You
 ng Green Leader Award. The school has been honoured with the National Pary
 avaran Mitra Award for its sustainability initiatives and maintains an int
 ernational collaboration with a partner school in Tokyo\, Japan. Teachers 
 actively contribute to global STEM education through participation in the 
 CERN High School Teachers (HST) Programme\, the Japan Teacher Exchange Pro
 gram\, presentations at the EGU GIFT Workshop\, and participation in inter
 national sporting events\, bringing global perspectives and inspiring stud
