1. ESP discussions:

 - C2E nominated for Experimental Area, not officially appointed. Not expected to be operational before 1 September 2026 (TBC with Sebastien).
 - HSE proposal for “temporary” procedures for areas without C2E presented at  LS3C on 29 July 2026; optimistically a “temporary” procedure might be approved 12 August 2026
 - We go ahead as usual for lockout and access following discussion with HSE until advised otherwise
 - Aim for 1 September 2026 to start working with the EA C2E; we will agree handover/start of C2E together with BE-EA
 - Mise hors tension partielle being prepared for week of 6 October, following safe removal of LKr to its new storage facility outside EHN1.
 - All activities are risk assessed for electrical safety risks (see below) with lockout and verification of absence of voltage made in each case.
 - EP ESO supporting electrical safety for EP activities (including external users) on-site

 2. Start of ECN3 shutdown works this week:

 - Works start 3rd August in ECN3 under coordination of HI-ECN3 PID team:
- IMPACT approval modified accordingly
- Normal NA62 experiment shutdown activities and limited NA62 dismantling activities
- Lockouts have been requested as usual for shutdown, e.g. beam line magnets
- Additional lockouts are being carried out systematically for each approved and risk assessed activity to guarantee LKr system is not tripped
- All activities have WPA and PPSPS
- VIC performed by HI-ECN3 project Safety Coordinator before works start
- EDMS 3502579: memo for IMPACT access request changes shared with NA62 spokesperson (attached, please feel free to circulate)
- We switch to Category 1 worksite next week once NA62 shutdown activities are completed:
- Looking for urgent solution this week to allow piquet interventions once a Cat 1 worksite
- First status update from HI-ECN3 PID Coordination Team at next EACM/EATM.
