DESCRIPTION:The Swiss Institute for Particle Physics (CHIPP) hosts an annu
 al winter school based on the  activities of the swiss institutes involve
 d in particle and astro-particle physics.  The purpose of the school is t
 o offer young physicists an opportunity to learn about recent advances in 
 elementary-particle physics from local and world-leading researchers. The 
 school program includes lectures on accelerator and non-accelerator partic
 le physics (detectors\, LHC physics\, neutrinos\, astrophysics\, flavor ph
 ysics) from an experimental and phenomenological perspective.\nThe school 
 is open to both swiss and international young physicists.  PhD students a
 re especially encouraged to attend.\nThe 2027 CHIPP winter school of parti
 cle physics will be in Gstaad at the GolfHotel.\nThe cost of the school (f
 ull boarding) is 1100 CHF (100 CHF are requested in advance for students f
 rom a non CH institute within a week from the online registration). \nReg
