Kick-off preparation
The kick-off will be a three days event taking place in Caen Normandie. We will have a local organizing committee and a scientific committee for the organisation of the three days. The first day, will at Centre François Baclesse. The second day at GANIL. The third day location is still to be determined.

Work-packages status
WP1
- Completion of all admin steps ongoing. Everything is on time.
- CERN joining as associate partner on the VDF (Virtual distributed facility) part. Admin procedure to be completed in September.
- Two positions for WP1 have advertised (assistant and project manager)
WP2
- Forms have been in preparation to be distributed to TwinRISE WP leaders.
- No representative for WP2 could be present.
Action : A separate meeting is to be organized soon. -> Adnan
WP3
- WP3 leaders organized meetings and distributed documents/questionnaires.
- INRIA to circulate a technical questionnaire to the nodes host in September.
- Julich confirmed the possibility of cloud usage and virtual test environment.
- All members can apply for computing time at EuroHPC and AI Factories. The question now is if/when to apply for it as a project
- GENCI have not attended the meetings [

WP4
- No meeting yet for WP4 team. Next meeting to be organized soon -

- The needs for the clusters will need to be established and communicated to WP2, WP3 and WP5
WP5
- New member "María Megía" joining as WP5 lead

WP6
- No WP6 meeting yet
- We need to define an internal and external communication strategy
- We need to define a visual identity
- We need a TwinRISE landing page asap.
Action : Courtney to organise a WP6 meeting
Boards
- External advisory board and ethical board to be constituted
- A spreadsheet will be shared to all SB members. We will be able to propose names. Following the list, a main list (plan A) and a second list (plan B) will be constituted. We will then reach out to invited members of the board

Events
- Joint TwinRISE/IRIS/ARTIFACT Feature Store training session to be organized the week of October 13th
- TwinRISE will be present during the next AI4RI Cluster meeting in Brussels
- Consider organizing your first day-long technical workshop right before or after the TwinRISE kick-off meeting. You will all be present. It is the right opportunity to begin in depth technical discussions

Consider advertising the positions you open for the project in the artifact website so that it is disseminated to all the network in the monthly newsletter.
