This is the picture of today:

This week, we will finish to install the last part of the vacuum vessel (vessel on the left side), welded next Monday.

Next week, it is planned to install on that same side, the tool for pressure test.

Initial day to start pumping DCM volume for Pressure test on Wednesday 2nd. It takes minimum 10 days.

On the other side, the DFX module will be closed by WP6a team after they finish their work with the link, from 3rd September.

Possible dates for Pressure test, Thursday 17th or Tuesday 22nd September. This still to be confirmed with HSE and vacuum team (40-30) since they have most of resources taken by LS3.

The idea is that for beginning October we can setup the bench and place the lambda plate for the last DCM to do (DCM#5).

This summer we did the blank assembly to validate our tooling and check the components. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the heaters which are installed in the helium vessel.

I was thinking that from next week (to be agreed with Lucie) we could place the lambda plate and install the busbars, but without the heaters we will be stopped.

The process is:

-Place lambda plate in the bench, then install the busbar plugs.

-Install helium vessel to do leak test to plugs.

-Install Cernox assy in the bench and weld (visual inspection and leak test can be done):

And we will be stopped here if we don’t have the heaters. Next it will come to weld the helium vessel with the vacuum barrier.

When Nicolas Vauthier is back from holidays (31st august) I will contact him, hoping he answers he has them. Then the idea is to prepare the 5 units of helium vessel (green component) and not depend more on this. He assured there is no problem for cernox installation.

There are minutes attached to this event. Show them.
