DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Bakur Parsamyan (AANL\, Turin section of INFN and CE
 RN)\n\nThe 20th COMPASS “Analysis Phase” International Mini-Workshop w
ill take place on October 5\, 2026\, at CERN in Geneva\, Switzerland. The
workshop will be held in hybrid mode.\nThe scientific programme of the COM
PASS “Analysis Phase” International Mini-Workshop series covers the br
oad range of topics traditionally addressed by the COMPASS Collaboration\,
  including:\n\nSpin and 3D Structure of the Nucleon\nDIS\, SIDIS\, DVCS\,
DVMP and Drell-Yan measurements\nTMDs\, GPDs and GTMDs\nFragmentation Func
 tions\nMeson Structure and Spectroscopy\nSearches for Exotics\nMonte-Carlo
simulation tools and techniques\nTechnical aspects and analysis technique
s\n\nThe 20th edition will focus in particular on the present status and f
uture prospects of polarized Drell-Yan measurements and their role in stud
ies of the transverse-momentum-dependent structure of the nucleon.\nA cent
ral question will be whether fundamental universality tests of the TMD fra
mework\, most notably the predicted process dependence and sign change of
time-reversal-odd TMD distributions between SIDIS and Drell-Yan\, remain i
mportant and experimentally unresolved scientific goals. We will discuss t
o what extent existing measurements already provide the necessary answers\
, where significant uncertainties remain\, and which future measurements c
ould have the greatest impact.\nThe programme will review existing and pla
nned polarized Drell-Yan measurements worldwide\, with particular attentio
n to the complementarity of different experimental channels. Proton–prot
on measurements provide important sensitivity to sea-quark contributions\,
  while pion-nucleon Drell-Yan gives access to the valence-quark region\, w
here effects such as the predicted TMD sign change are expected to be part
icularly pronounced.\nIn this context\, the workshop will examine the oppo
rtunities offered by the CERN M2 beamline\, which can provide high-energy
pion beams and hosts the former COMPASS experimental area and its successo
r\, the AMBER experiment. The aim is to assess whether a future pion-induc
ed polarized Drell-Yan programme at CERN could make a unique contribution
to the global study of nucleon spin and three-dimensional hadron structure
.\nThe workshop will bring together experimentalists\, theorists\, and phe
nomenologists and will also contribute to the activities of the COST Actio
 n SHARP.\n\nhttps://indico.cern.ch/event/1719503/\n\nZoom: https://cern.zo
