DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Hannes Jung (University of Antwerp (BE))\n\nA School
for Palestinian Students and Students from Other Countries\nThe current s
ituation in Gaza and the West Bank poses enormous challenges for students\
, teachers\, and universities. Restrictions on movement\, disruptions to d
aily life\, and the general instability of the region make access to educa
tion and academic exchange extremely difficult.\nDespite these challenges\
, students\, teachers and lecturers continue to demonstrate remarkable ded
ication to learning\, teaching\, and scientific development. Their commitm
ent to education under such difficult circumstances deserves recognition a
nd support.\nAs scientists\, we believe that the transfer of knowledge to
the next generation is one of our most important responsibilities. Educati
on and scientific cooperation can build bridges across borders and help cr
eate opportunities even in challenging times.\nWith the Introductory Schoo
l on Particle Physics 2026\, we wish to express our solidarity through edu
cation. The school is primarily dedicated to Palestinian students\, while
remaining open to students from other countries who are interested in part
icle physics and scientific exchange.\nThe school runs fully online withou
t any fee.\nAfter the school there is a possibility to work on a small pro
ject in the area of Monte Carlo comparison with experimental data.\nOrgani
