DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Vivian Poulin (LUPM\, CNRS & U. de Montpellier\, Fra
nce)\n\nCMB spectral distortions are a powerful probe of exotic energy inj
ection in the early Universe\, such as dark matter (DM) annihilations or d
ecays. In this talk\, I will review how the CMB acts as a calorimeter\, pr
esent state-of-the-art constraints on DM decaying into electromagnetic pro
ducts from CMB anisotropies\, and discuss how FOSSIL\, a new CMB spectrome
ter recently proposed for ESA’s M8 call\, could explore new regions of t
 he parameter space.\n\nhttps://indico.cern.ch/event/1740428/\n\nZoom: http
