Goal: check the risk to introduce in case of fire water from firebrigade into the ISOLDE target area 838 due to the drain conected in new 738 building.

• the firebrigade extenguisher water is potentially contaminated (low risk) but this risk will increase after LS4 and the relocation of the primaries pumps into nuclear room in 738 building.
• the present solution with the water collection in underground room in 838 is confirmed and validated.
• in case of large volume collection the 250 L pot will be submerged and the excess of water will run into the underground room.
• the underground room has to be tight painted (epoxy resin) :
  • dismount the old ventilation pipe
  • clean the floor
  • paint the walls up to 1,5 high
  • paint the floor 16.1 m2
• in case of water into 250 L pot or underground 838, it will be pumped with an immerged pump and transferred in the 170 building decay tanks
• I will organize a meeting with SCE to discuss:
  • who will do the paint in underground 838, Nicoletta ?
  • planify it
  • be sure we have a drain under the rails into the new 737 corridor
