DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Karel Cerny (Palacky University (CZ))\, Murilo Santa
na Rangel (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (BR))\, Christophe Royon
(The University of Kansas (US))\, Clara Elisabeth Leitgeb (Humboldt Univer
sity of Berlin (DE))\n\nThe 04-05 February 2027 two-day workshop of the LH
C Physics Centre at CERN (LPCC) Forward Physics Working Group provides a f
orum at CERN for experimental collaborations and theorists to meet and exc
hange latest results across all topics of forward physics at the LHC.  We
will discuss the project of writing a CERN Yellow Report about our activi
ties and prospects for high lumi LHC and beyond.\n \nForward physics is
a diverse program at the LHC that requires innovative instrumentation and
unique techniques to measure high-rapidity particles missed by standard ce
ntral detectors. Special instrumentation ranges from near-beam spectromete
rs to zero degree calorimeters. Recent results have witnessed a remarkable
breadth of advances underscoring the creativity of this community:\n\ndef
initive elastic scattering measurements\, \nnonperturbative dynamics of t
he strong force\,\nforward proton and neutron scattering\,\nphoton fusion
production\,\ncollider neutrino measurements\,\nsearches for prompt and lo
ng-lived particles beyond the Standard Model\,\nsynergies with cosmic-ray
observatories.\n\nThese developments open future opportunities to develop
in exciting new directions.\nThis series of inter-experiment workshops pro
vides a regular exchange of latest LHC results\, ideas and techniques betw
een experimentalists and theorists\, sharpening open questions to chart fu
ture developments. We are a vibrant international community drawn to the r
ichness of forward physics\, where newcomers and early-career researchers
are especially welcome to showcase their science.\n \n\nhttps://indico.ce
