Description
We will discuss the rapidly developing area of global fits to the properties of the recently discovered Boson, covering
- Basic fit methodology and EFT. (i.e. what the fit is going on here?)
- Current status of the Higgs hypothesis, its evolution in the fits in recent months, and some brief fit scaling prospects.
- Three applications of interest will be very briefly flashed. Fits to higher dimensional operators, an invisible branching ratio, and Natural SUSY (stops).
- (+ epsilon) As a bonus, recently developed and lovely stop exclusions in difficult to reach parameter space at colliders (Mchi0 >100 GeV) will be shown and justified. Many pretty plots might be seen through clouds of chalk dust. The speaker will attempt to not get overly excited and talk at a reasonable pace, but no guarantees are given.
