Michael Krisch studied physics in Hamburg and graduated from University of Dortmund in 1993. He spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, before joining the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, where he currently heads the Dynamics and Extreme Conditions Group of the Experiments Division. He was Coordinator of the FP7 ESRFUP project (2007 - 2011), and since 2011 he coordinates the CRISP project.
