Description
The 12th Zimányi Winter School on Heavy Ion Physics is held at the Wigner Research Center for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and partly at the Eötvös University, during December 3 - 7, 2012.

The School aims to summarize the latest heavy ion physics results, and encourage communication between the theory and experimental community. We will discuss some important new results that might be relevant particularly to hydrodynamics, flow and correlation analysis at RHIC and LHC. As usual a section will be devoted to recent results in lattice QCD, and we will also discuss recent results from STAR, PHENIX, ALICE, CMS and NA61.
