Description
The Charles University of Prague and the University of Antwerpen are collaborating closely in the study of diffractive ep scattering using the H1 Very Forward Proton Spectrometer. Additionally, both groups are starting new projects in the field of diffraction and forward physics at the LHC. The aim of the meeting is to discuss the activities and plans regarding diffraction and forward physics at HERA and the LHC and in particular to discuss the projects in which the Prague and Antwerp groups are involved. These projects include the H1 VFPS, the ATLAS RP220 and ALFA, the CMS CASTOR and the FP420 detectors.
