Witek Pokorski received his PhD in High Energy Theoretical Physics at
the University of Oxford. He came to CERN in 2001 as a fellow to work
on the Monte Carlo simulation application for the LHCb
experiment. After his fellowship he has joined the SFT (software
development) group in the CERN Physics Department. Since then he has
been working there on different aspects of Monte Carlo simulation
ranging from Monte Carlo event generators to Monte Carlo simulation
toolkits like Geant4. His current activities are mainly related to the
Geant4 hadronic physics models validation and development.
