EGEE/gLite training course for grid users and system administrators

The event consisted of a 3 days long grid user course and a 2 days long grid system administrator course. The training was organized for the grid research community in Malaysia and washosted by MIMOS Berhad institute in Kuala Lumpur.

Attendees learnt how to apply gLite and related software tools to create and operate grids, grid based Virtual Organizations and how to develop and execute grid applications on such architectures. Participants should be familiar with editing UNIX commands and text files.
