Holographic Thermalization

AdS/CFT has provided us with a framework to study strongly coupled field theories. One of the interesting set-ups where AdS/CFT has been extensively used is to study the properties of the Quark-Gluon plasma produced at heavy ion collisions. In this talk I will give an overview on some of the works done in this context to explain the process of thermalization at HIC.
