Travel from Glasgow Airport (GLA) to the workshop venue (Kelvin Building, University of Glasgow)
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport (about £20 to the Universiy). Please instruct the driver to drop you at the "Botany Gate, University of Glasgow". After entering, Kelvin building will be the second one to your right.
Public transit: Bus 500 (directly outside the terminal, runs frequently, £5) takes you to Glasgow city center. Please get off at Queen's Street Station, from where you can take the subway (inner circle, £1.25) to Hillhead station. After exiting the station, please walk left along the Byres Road for about 2-3 minutes and turn left at University Avenue. Botany gate is further 2-3 minutes along the University Avenue. After entering, Kelvin building will be the second one to your right.
From Queen's Street Station to to the workshop venue (Kelvin Building, University of Glasgow)
The Buchanan Street subway station is adjacent to the Queen's Street station, from where you can take the subway (inner circle, £1.25) to Hillhead station. If you are arriving at Glasgow Central Station, Buchanan Street subway is a short walk, or there are taxis available.
Travel to Heritage Hotel

It is about 10 minutes walk from the Kelvin Building; please walk along Byres Road toward Great Western Road, and turn right at Great Western Road. The hotel will be on your right. From the airport one can take a taxi, or from city center subway to Kelvingbridge subway stop is the closest. After exiting the subway station, please turn left, cross the river along Great Western Road, and the hotel will be on your left after about 5 minutes.
