QCD Resummation: from HERA to the LHC

We discuss the resummation of logarithms of S/Q^2 in high energy processes, within the context of leading twist perturbative QCD. We describe in particular their impact on the extraction of parton distributions from HERA and their extrapolation to the kinematics relevant for future colliders such as the LHC.
