How to get CERN

CERN's Globe of Innovation can be reached by various means. If you are travelling by car, click here.
 
Updated info on public transport:
 
- from the airport take bus Y, direction Val-Thoiry, stop at CERN (timetable for the Y bus click here), or bus 23, 28, 57, direction Gare Vernier-Meyrin, stopping at Blandonnet. There you may go to the platform and take the 18 tram to CERN (timetable of 18 tram click here).

CERN has a navette service, buses leaving from the airport every half an hour: h. 8:30, 9:30,..).  Tell the driver to leave you at the reception building to collect the access card.
 
Buses leave from the area of Airport door 1, departing area, next to the SBB train station, 20 m from one another EXCEPT the Y, that is 20 metres from the train station, just around the corner (French side).
 
- from the centre town (Gare Cornavin): tram 18, direction CERN to the last stop.
TAXI: from the airport the cost is around 35 CHF, from the station around 40 CHF.
