Description
Nonabelian plasmas far from equilibrium are a generic feature of early universe cosmology and appear in the early stages of heavy ion collisions. In my talk, I will discuss how such systems relax towards equilibrium, and the physical processes that drive the thermalization in the weak coupling limit. In particular, I will discuss the role of screening, collinear splitting and plasma instabilities out of equilibrium.
