SHIP (Search for HIdden Particles) is a new beam dump experiment at the SPS. It looks for very weakly interacting long lived particles including heavy neutral leptons - right-handed partners of the active neutrinos; light supersymmetric particles - sgoldstinos, etc; scalar, axion and vector portals to the hidden sector. The objective of this meeting is to give a theoretical overview of the new physics that is within the reach of SHIP and to have discussions on the detector requirements and technologies. Colleagues that are interested in the theoretical topics or representing experimental groups are encouraged to participate.
