DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Henning Flacher (CERN)\n\nThis talk will give an ove
rview of the latest measurements of semileptonic\nand rare radiative decay
s of B-mesons at the B-Factories and discuss their\nrelevance for New Phys
ics searches. As radiative B-meson decays proceed\nthrough loop diagrams t
hey are sensitive to contributions from particles\noutside the Standard Mo
del. Semileptonic B-meson decays provide an\nexcellent probe for the weak
and strong interactions of the b quark and\nallow a precision determinatio
n of the magnitudes of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-\nMaskawa (CKM) matrix elemen
ts |V_cb| and |V_ub|. These provide an\nimportant test of the Standard Mod
el mechanism for CP violation and the\nunitarity of the CKM matrix\, in pa
 rticular through the comparison with\nsin(2beta).\n\nhttps://indico.cern.c
