1. Comments on minutes from Feb 12
  • no comments
2. Review of Action items
  • Ian has added individual areas for Experiments to upload their results
  • Gabriele has results now posted to HEPiX CPU WIki (more info below)
3. Progress from experiments.
Peter Hristov (ALICE)
  • Finished work on lxbench 01-02, will start on lxbench06-07 after meeting and will finish the rest as soon as possible
  • He is having problem with Caspur Wiki Login
Franco Brasolin (ATLAS)
  • For current results please see the wiki ATLAS Results page.
  • Is waiting for ATLAS Release 14 which will be made available as a kit for external sites.
  • He will rerun benchmarks with the 14 release.
  • Peter Wegner will run with Release 14 at DESY as well
Gabriele Benelli (CMS)
  • Has complete running on all machines. Please see his results for details.
  • Has not had an opportunity to come to any conclusions.
  • Has used 7 different types of process referred to as standard candles within CMS.
  • He would like to be able to put HTML directly into the wiki.
  • WIll consider rerunning the benchmarks on CMS software release 2.0.0 which will be more widely available.

Hubert Degaudenzi (LHCb)
  • Now has simulation times reproducible within 2% and is read to run on lxbench machines.
4. Action items
  • Ian to investigate easy posting of html to wiki to save the pain of wiki syntax conversion.
  • Peter Wegner to run ATLAS code release 14 at DESY.
  • Peter Hristov to resolve Wiki login with Manfred and to finish running on remaining lxbench machines.
  • Hubert Degaudenzi to run on lxbench machines.
  • Helge to forward slides from upcoming presentation.
