Injector complex report (R. Steerenberg):

LINAC2, PSB and PS are all running with beam for re-commissioning.The new digital RF beam control in the PSB is being commissioned, which progresses well. The beam diagnostics equipment is being debugged as well as the complete renovated control system, In the PS the RF beam control is also being adjusted and the Beam instrumentation is made operational. Last week we did a beam based realignment on which will will probably make another iteration today or tomorrow. The SPS was closed last Friday, but has still accesses ongoing interleaved with powering tests. The machines are presently on schedule for beam delivery, but a lot of work reins to be done, as all required physics beams were not yet setup.

East Area:

Lau Gatignon reported on the status of the East Area. All activities are on a tight schedule,
but still on track for a timely start-up of the T9 and T10 beams. The DSO tests of the access
system will take place next week, starting on Monday.
The main concern is that global tests could not start yet, this will also only start next week.

During LS1 most of the work concentrated on the South half of the hall. The DIRAC experiment has been
dismantled and the IRRAD and CHARM irradiation facilities with protons, respectively mixed radiation fields,
are under construction. The commissioning of theses facilities, at low flux and initially without ventilation,
is expected to start around late August.

Irradiation facilities:

The 3 spills for the irradiation will be assigne to the T9/T10 users.

T9:

The Eudet/AIDA telescope will be delivered to CERN next week. Our DESY colleagues will arrive for the installation on Monday July 14th. The location in T9 for the telscope still needs to be defined. After the meeting DAMPE expressed interest in using the telescope.

T10: the 3 first ALICE users (ITS, FIT and V0A) will install in parrallel and take data together.

nTOF:

The nTOF facility request beam from July 24th. The nTOF beam will be prepared in the comming weeks, as the high intensity bunches allow to validate many beam features. Till the facilty opens for receiving beam the spills will be discarded on the dump.

Safety:

in absence of the Safety representative, the Henric Wilkens thanked the users for the timely sending of the ISIEC forms, over 90% of the ISIEC forms have already been received.
