Stephan Russenschuck has obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany. In the year 2000 he was recognized as a University Lecturer at the University of Vienna, Austria. S. Russenschuck is a senior staff member in the Accelerator Technology (TE) Department of CERN. He is the leader of the magnetic measurement section of the magnet group in this department. He is also the chairman of the technical and doctoral student program at CERN. His research interests are numerical field computation techniques for magnet design and the mathematical foundations of magnetic measurement techniques. S. Russenschuck is the author of the CERN-ROXIE program, an integrated design software for accelerator magnets.
