Alastair
- Track patch 1712
for GIN
Now certified.
- System tests for the registry - including registry
replication and perhaps interworking with the old registry
Written the RPC stuff but not tested yet. - Installed
yourkit and it speeds up the rebooting by around a factor of 10. Basic
test now runs - but only tried on one machine so far. This has showed
up a bug with an unknown resource exception being thrown.
Antony
- Add metadata columns to all tables in
consultation with users
This is waiting for patch 1712
(GIN). - Also need to get schema updated on LCGIC01 to fix the connection pooling
- Write scripts for sysadmins
showTableOwners and migrateDNForLogicalName are being completed - Showed
up a problem which Arun should now have fixed. This also showed up the
problem (on the producer) where the re-registration is not
happening.
Arun
- Deal with streaming sender which continues to try to send
data
Steve
- Think
about configuration and ACLs
A plan to do this (attached)
was discussed. A few changes were suggested - but these were only small
changes. The plan will now be elaborated. - Almost
complete. VDBConfigurator has a bug, ClientConfigurator is fine.
Producer and Consumer construction now subject to client checks.
Important registry operations subject to vdb check. Registrty modified
to do dynamic vdb chnages. This is not checke din because of the
VDBConfigurator bug. Should make the server check script look at the
security status.
- Track bug
22605
Glue Service Uniqueid issue. This is in patch
1709
which is now certified.
- Now in PPS deployment test
- Current issues - round table
- Steve - don't overuse stringbuffer
- Alastair - added a proxy re-load. The trust manager by default does not do this.
- Alastair
- New machine to become LCGMON has been installed and is ready to
roll out with a new IP address. The DNS configuration fix has already
gone out with 3.0 YAIM so this should not be a problem.
- Alastair - Catalin has requested MON box metrics - we will give him Antony's script when he has written it.
