Abstract title
The new concept of Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) allows providing large electron currents at high beam energy with limited power consumption. For the FCC electron-hadron collider (FCC_he) one of the options under consideration is a combination of a racetrack, 3 pass ERL electron beam of 60 GeV energy, as is under detailed study for the LHeC, with the 50 TeV proton beam of the FCC. The talk presents the high energy ERL configuration, and it outlines the concept and purpose of a 1 GeV electron beam 3-pass ERL facility under design at CERN.
