Description
The testing suite for validation of Geant4 hadronic generators with the data of
thin target experiments is presented. The results of comparisons with the
neutron and pion production data of are shown for different Geant4 hadronic
generators for the beam momentum interval 0.5 – 12.9 GeV/c.
Summary
The developed software of hadronic testing suite allows performing validation
of the Geant4 hadronic generators in semiautomatic regime. The afs file system
is used to archive results of simulation for different versions of Geant4. The
software is used for model development and for final analysis of the simulation
precision. It allows building an optimal combination of Geant4 cascade
generators and high energy generators for LHC experiments simulation.
