We analyze possible CP-asymmetries in the production of $H^+ W^-$ and $H^- W^+$ at the LHC. We present results for general type-II two Higgs doublet models with CP-violation, and compare with MSSM, at the total cross-section level. The conditions for CP-asymmetries, of which resonant production is the most important, are discussed. We find in the general two Higgs doublet models asymmetries of the order of 5\% for parameters that fulfill the unitary constraints. The total cross-section is also discussed and for these types of models it is enhanced at least one order of magnitude, compared to MSSM, making detection of the CP-asymmetries easier.
