WG1+subgroups conveners meeting: present M.Grazzini, R.Harlander, P.Musella, B.Mellado (WG1 conv.) S.Forte, A.Lazopoulos, G.Zanderighi, D.Gillbert, C.Hays, G.Petrucciani (ggF) First part: WG1 conveners + ggF SF reports on the work on the inclusive cross section. The comments on the ggF report have been implemented. The ggF subgroup is currently waiting for the publication of the new N3LO result to go ahead. AL anticipates that the new N3LO results show a quite small scale uncertainty, and that in the light of this it will be important to carefully reassess the other uncertainties affecting the calculation of the ggF cross section. DG mentions that meeting on the Higgs pt spectrum (and possibly on jet veto issues) is being organized. The date will be may 7. It was not possible to find a closer date. It is still to be decided whether it will be a half day or a full day meeting, and if it will be only on the pt spectrum or also on jet vetoes. BM mentions that the SC is making plans for the YR4 and asks if there are already ideas on how the ggF part will be structured. The ggF subgroup is asked to come up with a plan of their section in YR4 during the meeting in may. AL mentions that new results (for example on ggF contamination in VBF) may come only in the summer. PM says that we should be flexible to include new results if they become available. Second part: WG1 conveners MG introduces the issue of the choice of a new set of parameters for the calculation of cross sections and branching ratios in the YR4. The SC has given WG1 conveners the responsability to lead the discussion. The SC suggests the possibility to consult experts on this topic. A possibility that is being considered is to ask an opinion to Giampiero Passarino and/or Stefan Dittmaier. It is decided that MG and RH will prepare a preliminary proposal on which they will look for consensus and improvements. Task force on fiducial measurements: BM reports feedback from the SC on the names that have been proposed. A more extended discussion will be in the SC meeting on tuesday 24 march.
