I will discuss new mono-Z’ signatures for dark matter at the LHC, which can arise in models where dark matter is charged under an additional gauge symmetry. A heavy Z’ can be reconstructed as a resonance, while a light Z’ appears as a distinctive object within the detector, which we call a Z’-jet when it decays hadronically. Dedicated searches for these signals can help cover models that are not well-constrained by monojet and other existing searches.
