This list shows the version of phrases I'm using to ensure consistency in the document. Try to use these phrases. If you disagree, let's discuss!

"cross section" no hyphen

"WW-fusion", "ZZ-fusion" with hyphens (and with \PW, \PZ for particles)

"top Yukawa coupling" no quark, no hyphen

"programme" for the CLIC physics programme (British English)
"program" for computer programs

"centre-of-mass" hyphens, British English

"n-jet topology" where n is written in letters and with hyphen

"model-independent", "model-dependent" when this is describing another thing, eg fit, probe, measurement

"Figure", "Table", "Section" when referencing numbered items. But don't capitalise "in this section..." or "The table also shows..."

"3 TeV" for the third energy stage, not 3.0 TeV

Program names use \textsc{}, so as to be in captials. The only exception is org.lcsim. Use the commands defined.

"normalise, optimise, summarise, polarise" etc.

"preselection" no hyphen

Questions: 
should BR (branching ratio) be italic? eg in \sigma \times BR?
