There are many different forms of Intellectual Property, some for which registration can be carried out, such as; Industrial Property Rights, Inventions, Industrial designs etc, and some for which registration is not e.g.: Copyright, Literary, Artistic or Scientific work.
This seminar will address how to protect, use and respect intellectual property by patenting.
About the speaker:
Dorothée Weber-Bruls, Dipl.-Phys. Dr.rer.nat., (German Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trademark Attorney, Partner) studied physics and
geophysics at the University of Frankfurt and specialised in solid state physics. After graduation she worked at Max-Planck-Institute (Grenoble), Institute Laue-Lengevin (Grenoble) as well as Risø National Laboratory, and as a teaching fellow at the University of Frankfurt (PhD in physics), being especially involved in materials science,
magnetism, superconductivity as well as measurement and control engineering. Dr. Weber-Bruls is still particularly interested in these areas of technology.
