Computadoras, Redes e Ingeniería, S.A. (CRISA) was founded in 1985 to develop and manufacture electronics and software products for aerospace, defence and telecommunications sectors. In December 2000 CRISA became part of Europe's leading space company, the newly formed, Astrium. The company is based in Madrid and has a staff of over 250.
CRISA's main activity is flight electronics (hardware and software for data handling and management units, on-board computers and power systems). In addition, CRISA designs and manufactures equipments for the telecommunications market.
In this presentation, an overview of the company will be given, focusing in the company's know-how in radiation-tolerant and magnetic-field-tolerant power systems and computer design. The company's activities developed in the frame of CMS Low Voltage power systems will also be presented.
