Chandran Nair, VXI/PXI product manager, will present new Controller and Instrumentation Hardware and Software Technologies from NI. The presentation will include technical discussion on Compact PCI/PXI, VME/VXI, full bandwidth long distance PCI-PCI links, and LabVIEW RT. In addition Linux and other emerging OS's for instrumentation control will be discussed. The topics covered are: - Review of Compact PCI and PXI Technology - the PXI consortium - New PXI products - MXI-3 and future MXI Technology - Expanding PCI slots for instrumentation purposes - Evaluation of VME/VXI Controllers - LabVIEW real-time on PXI - LabVIEW on Linux
