École de Physique des Houches (France)
Description
This school aims to bring together mathematicians (from number theory, ...) and theoretical physicists (from QFT and string theory, ...).
The main themes will be:
Part I: Dynamical systems, Number theory and random matrices
Part II: Polylogarithms and Perturbative physics
Part III: Symmetries and nonperturbative physics
In addition to lectures and seminars working groups will be organized. A tentative list of theme is
Random matrix theory
Dynamical zeta functions
Applications of Renormalisation group ideas in Mathematics
Euler products in QFT
Modular forms and generalisations
Extended objects and boundary field theories
Consult the home page of the school http://wwwth.cern.ch/leshouches/index.html for complementary informations.
