Minutes of previous meeting(s) (September 16) and matters arising

The minutes of the last meeting were not yet ready.

Status of verification milestones (Jürgen Knobloch)

Jürgen presented the verification milestones proposed by the experiments (slides). It was agreed that the experiments would provide a revised set of milestones in time for the quarterly report.

Data challenges - status of planning, resources required (Bern Panzer)

Bernd gave the current status of planning for the 2004 data challenges. It was requested to collect the overall available and planned CPU capacity for LCG and non-LCG resources and to identify the fraction that will run LCG. Tony suggested to also collect the resources used for previous data challenges. Marco pointed out that one should not only look at CPU but also at data storage capacity.
