Geant4 in HARP in 2004

 

STATUS:

·        Monte Carlo production have been started

·        Rh73 gcc 2.95.2

·        4 centers: K2K, Milan, Los Alamos, CERN

·        Event history is the same for the same random seed

·        2.6M event for Be and Al targets at 8.9 GeV/c and 12 GeV/c have been simulated

 

REQUIREMENT:

     To keep 2.95.2 in 2004, at least, to provide official summer release.

     

In 2003 we have serious trouble when work with special configuration – that will not be acceptable in 2004. HARP need the last Geant4 releases in order to work with last version of hadronic phyics.
