1. Introduction
- Meeting of SA1-partners within ROC-DECH to be held biweekly
- Purpose of this meeting:
  * Improve communication,
  * status reports
  * increase visibility of sites and their problems encountered,
  * distribute information easily.
- SH: Extend attendance of meeting to all DECH sites (not only distributed ROC)?
  --> no objections  --> !# SH: invite sites for next meeting

2. Round the Sites (gLite update status)

- CSCS (to be reported)
- DESY (see email Andreas G. to admin lists)
  a) gLite 3.0 CE with WNs in production now
  b) Erroneous scripts and poor quality of documentation
  c) Planning of rollout from CERN needs improvement
  d) Limited flexibility of site due to increasing reliance of VOs on supplied production service
  e) Timescale: pragmatic approach for the time being: g-CE with 3 WNs, WMS in testbed
- FZK
  a) gLite services installed, but final tests still necessary
  b) dCache delayed (still classicSE)
  c) FTS currently being updated (to 1.5.)
  d) problems with installation of g-CE, WMS
  e) Timescale: gradually switching to production
- GSI
  a) production services still on LCG 2.7.0
  b) g-CE, WMS in testbed (already in use!)
  c) Difference of gLite 3.0 and the older gLite 1.5 very small
  d) Timescale:    switching to gLite very soon, ...but depending on general deployment problems of MW
  e) only ALICE is supported, they want LCG 2.7.0 for SC4
- ITWM
  a) Updating not yet started
  b) Timescale:    updating starts next week (test-ce with some WNs), production to be updated in following week
  c) Concerning participation in PPS: waiting for hardware and giving priority to upgrade of production service
(F.Y.I. - PPS-sites are supposed to update to gLite RC5 in parallel)
- SCAI
  a) Working on PPS-Cluster
  b) Timescale:    start updating production to gLite next week
- Conclusion
a) !#all:     please supply ROC with detailed feedback on quality of documentation, scripts, support system, ...
b) !#SH:    this feedback to be passed on to OM/RMM in order to improve future rollouts

3. ROC-on-duty
- Status: ROC-on-duty now running for a year of so (FZK, DESY, GSI, SCAI). CSCS to join as fifth partner soon.
- Handover: The last two weeks have seen some problems with the workflow, mainly due to novice TPM team members.
- A better documentation of the workflow is currently being worked on (!#GGUS,SH)
- A couple of sites do need more instruction on how to treat tickets and on how to react to an requests by ROC-DECH-On-Duty (!#SH)
- future handover in this meeting (agreed)

4. Setup of COD-DECH

- Distributed ROC DECH will have two groups participating.
- Mailing list created to be used as a discussion forum between the participating partners *and* single-point-of-contact from outside.
- Training event is planned for the 21.6.2006 with the COD-CERN team with most of COD-DECH staff participating.
- Next COD-9 meeting will take place in Varna 12-13.7., one or two more participants from our team would be appreciated.

5. AOB
- Telephone conference system is working poorly. To be tested and improved for next meeting (!# SH,CK).
