Description
This contribution summarizes the impedance and single beam instability studies performed within EuroCirCol WP 2.4 (single beam current limitations). Numerical results for the beam pipe impedance will be presented together with the resulting growth rates for coupled bunch instabilites. The effect of different coatings will be estimated as well as the threshold for transverse mode coupling instabilities resulting from different broadband impedance sources.
