Description

Magnetic shielding is important in the context of magnetic field shaping. The application of superconducting magnetic shields is an efficient way to homogenise or attenuate magnetic field. In order to properly design a shield some modeling has to be performed. This work contains the description and results of numerical calculations of shields made of bulk superconductors and superconducting tape. Magnetic field distribution and shielding currents were analysed.
