 culate the classical single-gluon production amplitude in\n  nucleus--nucl
 eus collisions including the first saturation\n  correction in one of the 
 nuclei (the projectile) while keeping\n  multiple-rescattering (saturation
 ) corrections to all orders in the\n  other nucleus (the target). In our a
 pproximation only two nucleons\n  from the projectile nucleus interact: th
 e single-gluon production\n  amplitude we calculate is order-$g^3$ and is 
 leading-order in the\n  atomic number of the projectile\, while resumming 
 all order-one\n  saturation corrections in the target nucleus. Our result 
 is the\n  first step towards obtaining an analytic expression for the firs
 t\n  projectile saturation correction to the gluon production cross\n  sec
