DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Fiorella Fionda (Universita e INFN (IT))\nRecent mea
 surements in high-multiplicity proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p-Pb)\n
collisions show several features that are similar to those observed in hea
vy-ion collisions. In this respect strangeness production may provide a va
 luable investigative\ntool.\n\nBaryon-to-meson ratios\, such as Λ/KS0\, h
ave been measured\ndifferentially in *p*T and show an evolution with incre
asing charged particle\nmultiplicity in small systems similar to the one o
bserved with centrality in heavy-ion\ncollisions\, where this behaviour is
interpreted to be strongly related to the\nhydrodynamical evolution of th
e system. Furthermore the production rate of strange and\nmulti-strange ha
drons relative to pions exhibits a significant increase with multiplicity\
nin pp collisions\, similarly to that observed in p-Pb. This increase is o
bserved to be\nmore pronounced for hadrons with a larger strangeness conte
 nt.\n\nIn this talk strange (KS0\,Λ\,Λ) and multi-strange (Ξ\,Ω) hadro
 n\nproduction measurements at mid-rapidity\, in pp collisions at √s = 7
TeV\, will be shown\nas a function of charged-particle multiplicity. Persp
ectives for similar studies at √s = 13 TeV will also be discussed.\n\nht
