Description
This School aims to summarize the developments in 2007 in high energy heavy ion physics, with particular attention to the new data emerging from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) accelerator. As usual, we discuss in detail recent results and advances on correlations and fluctuations in high energy particle and heavy ion physics. The focus of the School is the discussion of (super)fluidity, the fluid nature of Quark Gluon Plasma found at RHIC. Special talks from outside heavy ion physics are invited to help to deepen our understanding of the low levels of kinematic viscosities as measured in these reactions. Also being discussed is the preparation of the (Hungarian) heavy ion community at the LHC accelerator and its experiments. Hungarian teams are preparing for participation in the ALICE, CMS and TOTEM experiments at LHC. Please find below the final program of the meeting and the links to the presentations.
